absolutely electric meal with mr. hur. dropped into la piscina for an early dinner/late lunch. linner action. we had a game plan; manny had been here a few months earlier with jibraan and they had been raving about the fajitas. I had to see what all the fuss was about. we arrived right before sunset and the vibes were incredible. this place is tucked away on an upper level at the proper hotel in downtown austin; it feels like a true urban oasis. service wise I think it could have been a lil better for the cost. the wait staff was a bit disengaged and didn’t really seem to know much about the menu. kinda the vibe I would expect at an applebee’s not at a place charging this much. on the food: we started with a crab tostada which was a lil pricy. an order was $26 and came with two. the crab itself was very good quality and super tasty. not something I think is necessary to order again though. if it was half the price I think fair but a bit high. the star of the show was the fajitas. our order was $48 but it’s enough to split between 2 (if you get your moneys worth in eating chips). meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. def the best fajita meat I have had in my life. it also comes in sizzling cheese which was so good. who doesn’t love fried cheese? rice and beans were pretty forgettable and I barely touched them. pico and avocado salsa was good but I think they could have given a slightly bigger portion for the price. tortillas were incredible. flour is the way to go of course. after the meal me and manny hopped over to the pool and cosplayed as hotel residents. great meal, great vibes. def will be back.

"phenomenal again. fajitas 🥰 i don’t think the crab tostadas were worth the price, may explore different fajitas" - manny
