went here after church on Sunday; me and rohit originally planned on hitting Julie’s Noodles but pivoted here after Manny begged on his hands and knees for us to come here instead. glad we did.
i’ve heard about this spot many times and it is praised highly not only as a authentic schezuan spot but as one of the best restaurants overall in austin (10th on infatuation’s top 25). we let manny take the lead on ordering and he did excellent (although the crispy fish we saw another table had ordered on the way out looked taste-worthy). pork dish, jumping fish, and peppercorn chicken. we also got the combo lo mien.
all the dishes were excellent and the flavor profile on all of them was top tier. my favorite would have to be the fish. super yummy, not too expensive either! left super full and satisfied.
will definitely be back.
been craving some szechuan food and finally got to try this spot!
very solid, would def come back next time i want some peppercorn
the fish filet was great and so was the pork belly.
lomein and chicken were just good
