"we literally wandered into this restaurant because it had the word “cats” in the title only to later realize by seeing a whole tour group right outside the restaurant that PABLO PICASSO made his first individual exhibition of paintings at 4Gats and also created the image of the letter!! this restaurant was originally created by Pere Romeu and the painters Santiago Rusiñol, Ramon Casas and Miquel Utrillo as a meeting point for art exhibitions which is what drew 17 year old picasso. in this restaurant, you can see works of art from famous artist and 4Gats continues to be a place of inspiration for national and international artists of great recognition🤩 I tried Spains famous blood sausage, morcilla, and I wasn’t fond of the irony taste, but the codfish and garlic aïoli with onions, olives, and tomatoes were right up my alley . For dessert, we tried their hot chocolate, which literally tasted like the inside of a molten lava cake. So delicious." - vero🌈
