cold soba is my favorite but nothing special here. the service is a bit off. Came here with a friend who strictly eats halal and is worried about cross contamination but the server seemed a bit annoyed with his questions.

Honestly really mid and underwhelming. the portion doesn’t match up to the price and it got cold too quick. I was looking forward to have proper baked Japanese sweet potato in the city but you’re better off making your own

super yummy but it is a bit expensive for an izakaya. Perfect to come with a group of friends, the tatami room doesn’t miss so make sure you make a reservation fun variety of sashimi, the triple toro melts like butter in your mouth, and uni oysters were super good . I wish the portions were a bit bigger ngl. my favorite dessert is the haagen dazs sweet potato!

perfect if u like cheap eats, the closest to an actual izakaya in the city iconic decor as always don’t be surprised if ure missing an item from ur order tho, i later embraced it as typical kenka behavior lol

Pretty but I think it’s too pricey for what you get. Some of the pastry biscuits are too dry. The sweet potato with ice cream, chestnuts, and pudding was also dry. Tea was fine.

if you love raw seafood, this is the place I def prefer soy over spicy tho bc I think the spicy can be overwhelming banchan is generous, jumbo shrimps are yum, not a huge fan of the abalone tho.
