alrighty first ever taste review in honor of one of my favorite meals this year so far:
incredible meal with such thoughtful balance of flavors & textures in each dish. highlights:
- caviar kim: the crunch of the seaweed, saltiness of the caviar, bluefin tuna tartare balanced with some pickled veggies(?) & creamy avocado
- striped jack: loved the citrus/acid & herbs that added freshness and reminded me almost of a ceviche
- jook: creamy & homey but wasn't the most mind blowing
- branzino: the crispy skin was so good and the fish was flakey & delicious with the sauce
- lamb & banchan: omg the doenjang marinated lamb was sooo good and perfectly cooked; the green chimichurri-like sauce was perfect with the lamb
only slight constructive criticism was that it was sometimes hard to hear the course descriptions
