You’ll always love Ari’s! The owner is the only one running the shop, and he makes everything fresh right there, including the breaded chicken, so it never gets frozen, even when you order it to go. When you sit down to eat, he always gives you a free sample of fried chicken with his special sauce, which is absolutely amazing. And if you order a milkshake, he always gives you the rest for free, which is great because it’s worth another cup! This restaurant is halal-friendly, and he also makes other delicious desserts like baklava and rice pudding. The baklava was so good, with chocolate drizzle and pistachios on top! Everyone, including me, loves the jerk chicken menu. I got the jerk chicken over rice with his signature sauce and the white sauce he suggested, and my mom got fish over rice, which is whiting. The owner is really nice and would be happy to have more customers. You’ll definitely get what you paid for plus more! Fun fact: the shop is named after his daughter :)

This restaurant is located inside Hope Lake Lodge in upstate New York and was a great dining option during my stay. The food was enjoyable, and the presentation was beautifully done. I especially appreciated how accommodating the staff was with custom orders. I ordered the orzo and added salmon as my protein, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The dish was served with half a lemon and a side of garlic sauce, both of which complemented the meal well and added great flavor. If you’re staying at Hope Lake Lodge, I’d definitely recommend stopping by for a meal!

On Mother’s Day, I ordered two bowls through DoorDash for my mom and me. The blue spirulina bowl was fantastic! Açaí bowls are always a safe bet, and this one was no exception. The prices are reasonable for the portion size, but they’re slightly higher if you order through a third-party app. Since I have a nut allergy, they have a great option to specify which ingredients may be cross-contaminated. They label the product clearly with the allergy information, and they’re very professional about it, especially the location.

Went here for my 18th birthday after finding out about their 24 LAYER CAKE?!?! I first want to start with their ambiance. It’s very nice and dark cozy in here. One thing is, the bathroom is a small cove with about 3 individual stalls, so it’s not a traditional bathroom you walk into. The sinks are to the right when you walk into the cove and the stalls are up a couple of stairs and closed by doors completely. Other than that, the food is very nice, social media worthy with HUGE portions. If you’re not planning to spend a lot of money DON’T come here to just sit and chill. For example my lobster Mac was $32 dollars alone. They have a mocktail menu if you don’t drink as well. There were about 8 of us including 2 kids under 7 and the bill came out to around almost $400. This place is definitely for special occasions and I would recommend if you just want to have a fun and spontaneous night out! Ps: MAKE RESERVATIONS

I got the limited 48oz bucket from this Dunkin recently. They have a drive thru and it’s out of the way and in a quiet area! Would recommend this Dunkin to anyone that doesn’t like busy areas or long lines even during major events.
