went out with the guys for a late dinner. speedy service and made my tastebuds real happy. not a big cheese fry guy so i ordered the bulgogi fries without it. how they managed to keep the fries crisp beneath the juicy bulgogi and sauce is beyond me. nabbed one of kevin’s huge umami chicken legs and was even crispier. great chicken katsu too. tap in yall. 8/10

had to take bae out for some good food. medium rare never disappoints. super busy night — basically sitting on top of folks — but the service was excellent. ordered a refreshingly sweet pineapple mule. terrific fixed menu. warm crusty bread, followed by a simple yet delectable cherry pepper and vinaigrette salad, and then comes the steak. crazy tender cut cooked to your preference, served with crispy thin fries and a secret sauce — some type of marriage between a steak diane and au poivre sauce. everything about this place is so intriguing. however, the clincher is FREE seconds. split a ginormous ice cream sundae that was like 50% whip cream lmfao. no complaints. crazy affordable for the quality of food and service. this is a must-have. 9/10

a truly underrated taco truck nestled in a norwalk sidestreet. hit this place right before seeing the pharcyde and was blown away. the lady taking orders is beyond sweet and everyone is passionate about this truck and the food they make. hooked me up with a free jarritos so that was dope. best birria around. tried their al pastor and did not disappoint whatsoever. i could go on and on about how tasty their tacos are but it could never do it justice. ya gotta go. now. 9.5/10

i love the atmosphere here. tight layout, lights low, warm wood all around—somewhere between a ramen spot and a downtown lounge. 90’s r&b on the speakers and pokemon indigo league on the screens was the feel i didn’t know i needed. pork belly bao was buttery and delicious. kfc bao was tasty, as per jessy. the tonkotsu 3.0 was insanely good. a 24-hour hakata-style pork broth that was rich, creamy and full of umami. it was topped with crispy chicharron, crunchy green onions, and sweet corn. with each bite, i found myself trying to cram in a little bit of everything. the paitan chicken ramen was great. the broth alone was very hearty and packed with flavor. service was nice and quick. 9/10. so damn good.

was doing some shopping and we stumbled upon the enduring waverly diner. not too sure about its notoriety, but it felt like a hidden gem. warm and cozy inside, with a retro greek-owned feel. waiter was on point with the service and had a great personality. i had a bite of the cheeseburger my girlfriend got and my god was it juicy and rich. i got one of my go-to’s, CCBLTM, and it did not disappoint. loaded with crispy cutlets, salty bacon, and fresh lettuce and tomatoes, they really give a bang for ya buck. not a fan of the steak fries but somehow they made me like em! def could use some salt tho. 8.5/10.

was itching for some pizza and my gf recommended a local joint she would go to in highschool. nice environment, reminiscent of an old school brick wall italian/pizza joint. had a friendly waiter who complimented my beanie and brought the personal pies out in <10 mins after we ordered. good ass service. plain cheese had a nostalgic mellow and tangy taste. “dante’s inferno” is a chicken cutlet with spicy cherry peppers, definitely a must have if you like a lil kick. 8/10 overall
