i love the atmosphere here. tight layout, lights low, warm wood all around—somewhere between a ramen spot and a downtown lounge. 90’s r&b on the speakers and pokemon indigo league on the screens was the feel i didn’t know i needed. pork belly bao was buttery and delicious. kfc bao was tasty, as per jessy. the tonkotsu 3.0 was insanely good. a 24-hour hakata-style pork broth that was rich, creamy and full of umami. it was topped with crispy chicharron, crunchy green onions, and sweet corn. with each bite, i found myself trying to cram in a little bit of everything. the paitan chicken ramen was great. the broth alone was very hearty and packed with flavor. service was nice and quick. 9/10. so damn good.

was doing some shopping and we stumbled upon the enduring waverly diner. not too sure about its notoriety, but it felt like a hidden gem. warm and cozy inside, with a retro greek-owned feel. waiter was on point with the service and had a great personality. i had a bite of the cheeseburger my girlfriend got and my god was it juicy and rich. i got one of my go-to’s, CCBLTM, and it did not disappoint. loaded with crispy cutlets, salty bacon, and fresh lettuce and tomatoes, they really give a bang for ya buck. not a fan of the steak fries but somehow they made me like em! def could use some salt tho. 8.5/10.

was itching for some pizza and my gf recommended a local joint she would go to in highschool. nice environment, reminiscent of an old school brick wall italian/pizza joint. had a friendly waiter who complimented my beanie and brought the personal pies out in <10 mins after we ordered. good ass service. plain cheese had a nostalgic mellow and tangy taste. “dante’s inferno” is a chicken cutlet with spicy cherry peppers, definitely a must have if you like a lil kick. 8/10 overall
