Been really into bagels recently so I’ve been trying out different spots in Austin. My favorite (so far) is nervous Charlie’s. I get a sesame or poppy bagel with jam and vegan cream cheese. Vegan cream cheese is way better than most vegan cream cheeses. Prepare to wait 25+ minutes for a single bagel with cream cheese.

Went to chilis to try the wicked margs and go over camping trip deets. The lowlights: - they ran out of the special stirrers so none of the drinks we ordered had wands/brooms. This was devastating for me :((( - food was kinda bland but also too spicy? But also I ordered a black bean burger with no cheese so ig that’s on me -played the mini basketball game and then found out later it was $3 per game 😐 -had to park on the street

The trifecta pulled up to the Madrid churro place tn and my daily sweet treat craving was instantly and aggressively satisfied. The chocolate was clearly churned by angels and I briefly saw heaven when I decided to take a l sip. We got the cinnamon sugar churros which came with 6 and ofc we had to pay EXTRA for the chocolate sauce which is an evil and expected crime in this economy. I only knew about the churros but this place also seems to have a yummy breakfast menu so we will for sure be returning.

A continuation of a very strange night!!! (The phrase we have been using) Pulled up to P Terrys and a homeless homie whipped out a candle lit dinner and retold his escapades of not shop lifting, but simply “lifting”. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and extra sauce of course. Perfect post bar food. Love you always Patrick Terry xoxo

Decent late night option. This man came to our table and started lighting matches (for the candlelit dinner, ofc). In retrospect we should’ve left but the food was too good to not finish! Able to park, but would recommend drive thru.

After flag football I was RAVENOUS for some pancakes. Then the waiter convinced me to get pumpkin french toast and I was sold. Incredible meal as was everyone else’s. Did not realize that this was the original Kerbey Lane and the inside was so cutesie. Food came out so fast and the strawb lemonade was yummy as well.

Went here after Riley’s big flag football win! I’ve been to the south Lamar location but this one is cuter and cozier. They have a separate gluten free and vegan menu now, a pleasant surprise for Ella and me🫶🫶🫶 I got my usual vegan vanilla pancakes but this time I added strawberries bc special occasion. Still the best vegan pancakes I’ve ever had. Parking was stressful even though I wasn’t driving.

I came for the schnitzel only to find out that they discontinued it!!! *womp womp* The next best choice was the pesto chicken Sammy which was BUSSSSS. Atmosphere was great with a free concert and I ofc got a Paloma and cider which were both very yummy.
