Second time I’ve been to Sappe. Is it weird to say the food was so underwhelming that it made me sad? Good service. Yay. Not good food ): Don’t order the fried enoki mushrooms. Oil tastes kinda old?

A sneak peek of my mom’s google review. BEWARE. Borderline inedible. The meatball appetizers tasted microwaved. My pasta was sub par at best and severely overcooked. The bolognese looked like jarred prego sauce. The service was pretty bad and they seemed bothered while we were there. The cheese they gave us to put on our pasta was downright disgusting. And the bread service was dry at best. For reference we are locals and were so excited to try this restaurant after living a couple blocks away for the last year and a half. So disappointed.
