Buzzy new Korean wine bar by the founders of Rice Thief (viral raw marinated crab spot in LIC). The menu is pretty fusion-y and vibes are cute. Shoutout to our somm who recommended some good wines and dealt with our shenanigans!! Staff are so sweet. Onto the food, the dishes run small so you’ll def need to get a few things. Thought the rice thief (raw seafood + rice) tasted just as good as it looks. The beef tartare was also stellar. Scallop crudo was also decent but nothing crazy. Didn’t care as much for the fries, uni toast (think the butter-to-bite ratio was pretty off), or fried chicken; nothing wrong with them but they didn’t wow me. Of the mains, I thought the risotto was great. They also only have one item on the dessert menu - rlly hope they can expand that someday because we had to satisfy our sweet cravings elsewhere! Probs wouldn’t run to come back but it made for a fun group dinner. Think this would be a nice date spot since dishes run small!
