Omakase spot in Williamsburg that opened in ‘23 and recently received its first 🌟. Well deserved IMO. There’s a 17-course set and a 19-course set with more premium ingredients, but the 17-piece set was honestly perfectly fulfilling. They emphasize the quality of the rice - and it is indeed very yummy. The starters were phenomenal, def still thinking about the fried mackerel, trout with some sort of special umami salt, and the toro uni caviar rice dish… ugh. The nigiri were all really good, with my favorite bite being the marinated lean tuna, surprisingly. The uni was a close close second. Overall think this would be a nice spot for those that enjoy edomae-style sushi in a classy setting.
