This meal absolutely delivered.
The steak was cooked perfectly, a beautiful medium-rare with a warm, red center and a great sear on the outside. It was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The chimichurri on top was vibrant and fresh, cutting through the richness of the meat with just the right amount of garlic and herb brightness.
The blistered shishito peppers were a standout side, lightly charred, smoky, and finished with a subtle spice that made them addictive. The fries were crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly salted. Simple, but done exactly right.
And that creamy pasta in the background? Rich, comforting, and indulgent, a great contrast to the savory steak plate.
Overall, this was a well-balanced meal: bold flavors, great textures, and everything cooked with intention. I’d order it again without hesitation. Dallas Arts District, Dallas
I’ve had a lot of omakase experiences over the years, but this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. At $250 per person, it’s not casual dining but every single course justified the price.
From the very first bite, the quality was obvious. The fish was impeccably fresh, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. Each piece was thoughtfully composed, balanced, and served at the ideal temperature. The rice was flawless: warm, delicately seasoned, and structured just right to hold together without being dense.
What really elevated the experience was the progression. The pacing was intentional, each course building on the last. There were subtle flavor transitions, surprising textures, and moments that genuinely made me pause between bites. You can tell the chef isn’t just serving sushi, they’re telling a story.
Service was equally impressive. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious. The entire evening felt curated and personal.
At $250 per person, you expect excellence. This didn’t just meet that expectation, it exceeded it. If you appreciate true omakase craftsmanship, this place is worth every dollar.
