Unique place, the happy hour deals are incredible and the presentation of the dishes were nice. Everything tasted fresh and the ceviche with tilapia and shrimp with wonton crackers was a must get.

Got an eclair, cappuccino, red wine, coffee, and peppermint latte. The wine is subpar, and the almond milk cappuccino is nice and hot!

Ehhh. The bagels themselves were good. We got cheddar jalapeño and rosemary. but my pork seemed dry and stale. very basic and greasy. probably not worth checking out. might as well just go to McDonald's around the corner.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Chicago, hands down. Their squid-ink pasta is still the best pasta I’ve had in my entire life. It used to be right down the street from my first apartment, so it became my go to spot for out-of-town visitors and fancy date nights. Our favorite cocktail is the Sophia (dangerously good) Cozy vibes inside, great outdoor seating on nice days, and honestly… I really miss living so close

When in Barrington, Illinois. This place is about a 45 minute drive from Chicago. You can probably find better places for an elevated experience in the city, but if you’re looking to quiet your evening down, then travel outside the city a bit. The waiters and waitresses were nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I had the wagyu short ribs that were tender and fell off the bone. The house sauce was the perfect pair for it. The folks I went with got the steak and lobster tails which were the downfall of the restaurant experience. Tiny steak with a lobster tail that had no meat to it. I’d come back to this place though just for that crème brûlée, custardy silky smooth and the cookie was a nice touch.

When in Kyoto check out Kyoto Sen-Ryo. Location is hard to find as it’s on the other side of a hotel so plan to get there a few minutes earlier than your reservation. Reservations book up fast so if you’re planning a trip to Japan book this before your trip! Omakase restaurant with 2 menu selections. Pricey but well worth the experience. The drinks paired nicely with the dishes being served. Each dish was well presented and rotated in a timely fashion. The duck liver tarte took me for a trip and I’ll never forget the bitter taste mixed with sweet notes.surprisingly wasn’t bad. The chef was kind and asked us our favorite dish and gave us a second portion of it towards the end of our experience. Definitely worth checking this place out, especially if you have a good group of company!

When in Hawaii hit up Pau Hana poke. At first glance this place is a little hole in the wall. It’s attached to a fisherman shop. When you approach the counter that’s where all the magic is. Fresh fish caught daily being served up with an array of sides to choose from. I chose the spicy ahi tuna with kimchi and edamame. The fish was tender in your mouth while the spicy mayo delivered a tangy yet sweet note. The pictures makes it seem like there’s not a lot of fish but there is under the edamame. Take your take out box outside where you can sit outside, enjoy the Hawaii weather and let your worries melt away. There’s a reason this place has a 5 star review

When in Dallas. Go to Uchi, they have their main restaurant but Uchi Ba has this casual yet elevated atmosphere to it. If you sit at the bar you can watch the chefs curating the food. Shout out to Chef Max, you made my experience one for the books. Food amazing. Drinks phenomenal. 10/10

Convenient little stop off the 606 trail. It’s refreshing to grab a pick me up after a run. The atmosphere is always chill. The Carmel cold brew was the perfect jolt of energy and balanced. The almond croissant was a little dry.
