had some italian with mom before she left! i was busy so we couldn’t quite go to little italy in downtown- but this sufficed! (if you can, go to little italys farmers market- mom said it was fantastic). the garlic knots were pretty good, and everything tasted very homemade. the chicken florentine though was just okay. italian food is always comforting tho!

passionfruit green tea with lychee jelly, so delicious. their passionfruit tastes so authentic and is sweet but also a bit sour. passionfruit is always the best flavor for boba drinks

had breakfast with my mom today- this little bakery was a recommendation from a second year. SO GOOD! the strawberry matcha was delicious, and the banana and nutella pastry was perfect. i’m not sure what the salty pastry was called- but it was amazing as well. definitely recommend

they filled this drink with boba- and had the perfect ratio. they don’t have too many options but orange grapefruit green tea is what i got. a couple of my friends got the olvatine (filipino chocolate) and REALLY REALLY liked it- so maybe that’s the better flavor, still good. the actual boba was the best part.

okay horrible lighting and horrible picture- don’t worry i get that. but this matcha/coffee shop on campus is the best 😋. met some new friends at orientation and went here during lunch, bc the leaders said it was the best. they were right edit: i do miss cocos though 🫠

some friends and i went to UTC (local mall) on the light rail- just two stops away and free for us students. we got some boba and this udon place was really good. the mall is spectacular and will definitely frequent it.

went out exploring with the roomies and had to stop for the froyo on campus 😋 perfect sweet treat. they also have mango and lychee jellies, and a lot of other toppings that are very “california” 😝😝. my base was a passion orange guava- impeccable.
