after cosplaying as influencers at lift atx, me and manny ended up at p thai’s. one of the top 25 in austin per infatuation, its been on my must try list for a while (especially due to the relative affordability compare to other spots on the list).
I got the combo chicken dish which came with 1/2 poached 1/2 fried. I think the poached is the traditional way and it wasn’t bad. the fried on the other hand. some of the juiciest and crispiest fried chicken I have ever had. phenomenal. the rice is also cooked in chicken fat or something so it tasted great as well. came with 2 sauces and a side of broth (which smacked).
also got a thai tea to sip. 🫖
will def be back. will probably stick to the fried stuff since I’m not cultured enough to truly enjoy poached chicken 🫠
