Loveeeeeee this place. It’s inside of lakeside which is a cute date spot or area to get lost in. It’s a small neighborhood, and there’s always a good night crowd. A family area for sure. Maria Carmen took care of me and was soooo kind and guiding when I had questions about the menu. I didn’t take a picture but I enjoyed the mezcalita with a tajin rim and a small guac. The guac was fresh and was balanced in flavor. I would skip the mezcalita, nothing special about it despite being a higher quality drink. The star of the show was the chefs special. It came with a delicious cilantro like sauce poured over a lightly breaded chicken breast. The julienne vegetables and the white rice worked well with the cilantro sauce. My waitress brought me out a free sopapilla after I told her it was my first time dinning with them!! So sweet. The ice cream is 5 dollars, but def worth it with the sopapilla. For the three course meal I enjoyed my ticket was less than 50.

Love love this first watch. My waiter Isaac was the sweetest person, very vibrant and uplifting personality. I got the kale tonic to accompany the chimichurri steak and egg hash. I asked for my eggs over medium and got over easy, no worries but I would double check with your waitress/ waiter what options are available for the egg option. The steak was tender and the chimichurri paired perfectly with the hash. Defffff recommend this combo.

A hidden gem close to burger street.. kinda in the corner of nothing. It’s a walk up situation, not table side. The quesadilla pictures is a pastor quesa on a flour tortilla. The service is nice and it’s peaceful. They have WiFi and it’s a good chill spot. They offer you a water cup if you don’t choose to purchase a drink, which is a plus. They have silverware and napkins out for guests. Their green salsa isn’t spicy, but it is flavorful.

Food is always yummy, the service is okay. It really depends on the waitress you get. I’ve had great service here and I’ve had service that is best described as neglectful. Look out for auto gratuity, sometimes they add it without telling you. Def would pay only cash if possible here. The restaurant is cute and the wait time isn’t crazy. El café de olla is delicious, def recommend. Las aguas están ricas, favorite has to be Jamaica. El pastor, fajita, and the tortillas de maíz are some stars here.
