Personal shabu shabu is so fun!!! We loved the cozy japanese interior :)) meat was high quality (fresh and thin) and this was surprisingly filling ☺️ OH also that matcha latte hit! do you SEE the amt of strawberry syrup 🤤

Yum! They do fried foods so well here :)) unfortunately all the fried foods made me feel so stuffed after, but it was delicious during The Turnip cubes were the best and a unique take on the normal flat rectangles.

Idk why this place gets so much hate. their matcha tastes quality and it’s not overly milky. all their plant based milk options too slap. the house coconut milk is my fave :) also!!! I got their “matcha au lait” which is basically a matcha americano + a splash of milk and that was perfect

grabbed food to go here for my flight back to the bay! honestly tasted mighty fresh even though I ate it hours after picking it up!! they’ve gone so overboard with their instructions tho. I cannot believe anyone is doing all that they instruct

We came back! This time we got seated at one of the tables where you sit on the ground and have to take your shoes off :oOo 🦶 I also got the Lychee Granita, which is my new favorite thing here. It was so good I had two :))

TEEEENY brand new soba restaurant in sf!! Sits only 11 people (but damn if they remodeled and shrank their bathroom down they could probs fit 2 more). we arrived at 1:45ish and finally seated around 2:45? soba is the perf texture and the tempura comes out perfectly crispy!!! loveeeeee and would def come (and wait) again!

New smashburger spot near me opened by a Michelin star sushi chef! Had high expectations but don’t think they were met tbh. The burger was good but not mind blowing. Excited to have this spot around that is open quite late for SF (closes at midnight).
