friend would rather have semi solid than a bev for dessert so we compromised on yogurtland nearby after ican. honestly, had a ratatouille nostalgia moment taking me back to the yogurtland near zion market in northwood. very much liked the orange citrus sorbet as a mainstay. glad they kept rocket pop after all these years and the alphonso mango was a bit creamier than i personally would have liked. tart my beloved, never change. threw what popping boba they had to freeze up and some colorful mochi for toppings and overall a very good experience. none of the flavors overstayed their welcome and very sanitary creation and consumption process from start to finish. definitely need to drop the plastic spoons and get into colored wood/plant based ware but otherwise i enjoyed my time. paid 7.10$ for the picture and would do so again in another 5 years. not much else to talk about so while you’re here: i worked at yogurtland near seven leaves and my supervisor so anal i would just eat the toppings from the fridge not even for flavor just hate. when i worked at yogurtland corporate in the business district, the R&D department had me taste test their smoothie/blizzard/f’real concoction and it was just yogurtland through a straw but you had to wait for them to blend whatever you put in the cup. honestly surprised this brand didn’t get enshittified by private equity but not sure if im happy it’s still standing. at least do something more interesting than peppermint mocha
