the og japanese spot for irvine. prices are surprisingly low post covid and everything. oyakodon + udon noodle combo is a very solid, 100% filling, and well rounded. seating is a bit crowded at times so just keep an eye out after ordering. always convenient to get a bev from the market next door. always a great choice place with more traditional, homely Japanese cuisine.
