Overall, pretty solid place food wise. Price to value is likely to fluctuate between individuals but still stands on its own with its unique bread texture and superior atmosphere. rained on new years weekend so we got stuck in a bubble for the lakeside outdoor seating but surprisingly warm and not as inconvenient as i thought. ordered the cabernet, alternatives were organic. the first trout dip was honestly a shocking in presentation. just plain crackers, cucumbers, and radish, and the dip was very dill sour, not very aromatic nor flavorful, wouldn’t want to order again tbh. the caesar salad was also a bit sour with the dressing but veggies were fresh and much needed fibers. white pizza is definitely the standout, powerful pesto globs and nice cheese, both crispy and creamy kinds. the bread is definitely the reason you come here. pillowy on the inside and hardy on the edges. margherita came 2nd place with seemingly canned tomatoes and basic basil, carried by the texture of the bread, a safe choice. didnt get to try the pepperoni but i heard it was okay. the tiramisu was pretty good, a bit larger than i expected. very moist, the ladyfingers were pretty squishy but the flavors overall was enjoyable. all in all, good experience despite the weather. would’ve traded out the trout dip for another pizza and kept some veggies, maybe a more interesting alternative to the salad. will be coming back in a few weeks for better luck.
