Saw a special for fried fish with rice for 3,900 pesos (around $4) and had to try it. For the price it was actually pretty decent. The waitress Francisca was lovely, and even brought free bread and sauces. While I would’ve liked my fish not fried, apparently the special is only for fried fish. It was decent, though not much flavor. For the price i’d go back again, but yeah nothing special.

Okay first review in Chile for me. Dropped stuff off at my hostel then went to the nearest restaurant. This is an “italian” sandwich. Not sure what’s Italian about this. The meat inside was tasty, but simply too much avocado and cream. Not yet sure what traditional chilean food is, but surely it isn’t this.

I don’t think I can give this burger spot a fair review since i got a hotdog. Also don’t judge me for getting burgers and hotdogs in Argentina. I’ve had plenty of empanadas and carne. Hotdog itself was kind of odd but the toppings were good. I should’ve taken a picture of the interior because it looked like a shrine for the US.

Some pizza in el bolsón today. Argentinians do pizza very different. Thick cheese, thick crust, full slices of ham, and of course whole green olives. Not my favorite but good for argentinian pizza. Cool scenery as well.

First bite in patagonia. Arrived after an almost 22 hour bus and was craving a good meal. This place was recommended by one of the english lads in traveling with now. Amazingggg choripan. Opted for the chimi hendrix with a honey beer. Fries were also extra crispy and extra delicious.

Amazing prosciutto sandwich at a beautiful winery in Mendoza. The bread was the perfect amount of hardness and the prosciutto was delicious. Scenery is also unbeatable with views of the vineyards from the table.

Empanadas out of the city today! Greattt empanadas. I really doubt anyone will venture to this spot, but hey if you’re going to playa de los hippies make sure you stop here for verdura empanadas. The dogs there will try to hump your leg but that’s part of the experience. Also there’s no service or wifi so make sure you download your maps before you come.

Okay this choripan was much better than the one in Buenos Aires. An insane portion of food for about 4 usd. The chimichurri really takes it to the next level. I enjoyed sitting in the park with new french friends watching the pigeons gallivanting. Tasty

Can’t come to Argentina without getting asado! All the meat was very tasty and of course we had to get some malbec too. I definitely ate some parts of the cow that i don’t usually eat, but it was delicious. Argentinian food is not letting me down.
