My family and I’s fav Korean restaurant in the burbs! Just went tonight and I got tofu bibimbap on hot stone bowl (I like my rice to get crispy), my mom got soondubu Jjigae with hot stone bowl rice, and my brother got seafood soondubu with udon noodles. We didn’t get an app tonight but if we do, we always get the seafood kimchi pancake!

Birthday dinner in Omotesando!! Omakase with 9 courses and alcohol pairing. We got to seat in the private dining room, this restaurant is in a 70 year old house. Korean and Japanese fusion cuisine. Every course was delicious and we had a kind chef presenting each dish. Everything was fresh and seasonal, we enjoyed getting to know not only the chef but how the restaurant came to be. At the end he gave each of us an Onigiri he made.

Xiangyunduan Tea Stall, not the exact location on this map but oh well! The trek up this mountain was horrible but the view was 1000% worth it. We definitely could have made this easier on ourselves by getting a taxi to drop us off near the entrance at the bottom, but alas we took the train and ended up hiking up the whole mountain. The little treats look fancy but it didn’t taste all that good. The cold Chongqing beer hit the spot and the tea was the closest thing to water. We got a mixed meats & veggies platter which was a total surprise to us because we thought we ordered hot pot! But after trying to explain that we didn’t order this they later told us that they don’t even offer hot pot, the translation was incorrect lol. We weren’t 100% sure what everything on the platter was but we grilled everything and tried bites of each item.

The SG club has two floors, top floor is “guzzle” and you can go downstairs to a separate bar called “Sip” (gives a speakeasy vibe) I had a lychee martini, Rose and Hana had the no. one cup cocktail at the main bar. But once we got downstairs we realized why this place was named in the best bar list multiple years in a row. The handcrafted cocktails were out of this world and nothing I’d ever tasted before, we were truly amazed! This was a bar that we went to after dinner just to get a nightcap (5 min walk from dinner) but ended up staying there until close. Aromatic and spirit forward cocktails, Rose isn’t a drinker and she thought that every drink was exceptional!

Hookah bar I stumbled into while looking for a cafe, but loved the vibes so much I knew I wanted to come back! Great place to mingle and chat until the wee hours of the morning (as you can tell by how light it is out the window). Hookah was exceptional, staff were the best, great drinks, yummy s’mores!

Yummy Okonomiyaki, you can either choose to make it yourself or have them prepare it for you. Always eaten with a cold highball! I’ve come back to this place both times when visiting Japan so it has a special place in my heart❤️

Best noodles! I would go back to this place every time! We got the Dan Dan Noodle (11/10) and Shang Beef noodle soup (10/10). My brother and Dad found out about this place from watching one of their fav food reviewers on YouTube. It’s also in LV’s Chinatown so it was cool to see something other than the strip.

Had high expectations but wasn’t thrilled. Their king crab was good and had a bomb taco/Birria station, otherwise meh. But we did get the unlimited pour package that’s definitely worth it, the cocktails are great! (My stomach did hurt afterwards tho but it is a buffet🤷🏻‍♀️)
