first fully vegan meal I think i’ve had :o
nori killed it with a variety of dishes which tasted very solid to a carnivore like myself.
gyoza was good, my one complaint is that I wish it was slightly crispier.
tempura veggies made up for the lack of crisp in the gyoza. onions were my fav and tasted like healthier onion rings, I think the zucchini was cut a lil too large so the veggie to tempura ratio was off.
dragon roll was my favorite of the sushi. avocado was the star as per usual. the nigiri pieces they did were interesting. for the first couple bites it almost tasted like fish but then once I started chewing the facade wore off (although I still am not sure what they used instead of 🐠). still tasty, but I think the move here is to get the rolls instead of the pieces.
the yakisoba was very good but a lil saucy; noodles were done well and the assortment of veggies complemented them.
service was top notch and ambiance was stellar as well.
