Now typically when a place advertises that they make their noodles in house, it’s really not anything that groundbreaking taste-wise (I’m talking about you Italians) But I think the Chinese just have a way about it. From the moment I walked in I was overwhelmed with the plethora of fried noodle dishes. (Side note I just remembered I have leftovers and I now I have goosebumps). After I ordered the beef fried noodles, I was immediately asked what type of noodle I wanted and the size. To which I deferred to the employee and she recommended the hand pulled and chive wide selection. And not within 30 seconds after paying I heard something that rivals the secret chord David played for the Lord. The sweet sound of hand-pulled noodles being stretched and slapped on a table with a drumbeat polyrhythm only the likes of the drummer from Tool or Jacob Collier would recognize. From then on I knew this place meant business. So much business that I had to go back for a 2nd meeting later that night. Kungfu Noodles punched my tastebuds, head butted my palate, and spinning tornado kicked my appetite. All for the better.
