This guy ahead of me was the coolest person I’ve ever seen. I am so not cool enough for LES or EV or wherever this is. That will change one day but he helped the barista (is that how you spell it) pick out a record and had cool diamonds on his teeth and I was like wow you’re cool.
Well that was the only cool thing about this place because I walked 30 mins to try the best sandwich in the city and THEY HAD A FIRE THING AND THE OVENS WERE DOWN FOR THE WEEK 😭 so I got this pity pastry and decent coffee. I hope my score catapults when I go back and get the sandwich KP got that looked truly amazing.
I didn’t like this pastry even though they said they’re famous for it. Tasted kinda burnt and not yummy. Probably would’ve liked the almost croissant more. Definitely would have liked a yummy sandwich more 😪
Coffee was actually pretty decent tho.
The Kouign-amann is pronounced queen a-mahn in case you want to order something not very yummy
I will miss this place a lot! I used to go all the time for their fresh sourdough. Something about a fresh turkey sandwich and some potato’s!!! Sign me up all day long 😜
