"vegan chinese food!! came here after the chinatown festivities. my opinion of this place is skewed by the fact that i had to be vegan on 初一 and do not enjoy the zhai choy my mom makes us eat so i was hungry and craving meat. this was the closest thing
green beans were good. the sesame chicken was good but lowkey just tasted like youtiao with sauce on it lol no complaints i guess? the tom yum fish was surprisingly good and quite convincing haha. my least favorite was the char siu—i remember going to the other location as a kid and dreading the vegan chinese restaurant bc of this dish—smth about the taste throws me off idk!!" - tiff
