Alright guys. FIRST post. Me and the fam went to this beautiful Indian (also halal!) restaurant named Chote Nawab for a beautiful occasion. I got the lamb korma zafrani with a rose lassi.
FIRST OF ALL. These guys had IPAD menus. I ain’t never seen such advanced menu technology. In all honesty though, this is very helpful for people unfamiliar with the menu items as pictures of the food is included.
The lamb was sooooo tender with the perfect level of spice (I can thug it out with spicy food but I wanted something neutral tonight). But fr, it was very very tender and I ate all of it. The portions are very filling too. All I had to eat before this was coffee with bread and cheese in the morning. I’m going to die from a food coma after posting this.
The garlic naan was very yummy too! Helped out with the lamb fr. The basket on the right was just a TAD more toasted than I prefer but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t delicious.
Rose lassi was delicious. It wasn’t too sweet nor tart. My mom loved it too. They have mango and salt lassi as well!
We also brought in a Carvel cake and the staff was kind enough to store it while we ate. They also provided plates and utensils when the cake was brought out. Please tip the staff extra generous if you do this as well!
If anybody reading this has picky friends/family, you’re in luck because for whatever reason, this place also has Chinese fusion menu items. My grandma got the fried rice and she loved it. It was even better than a lot of Chinese restaurants we go to so boom.
Overall, my rating for this visit is a 10/10! The food was delicious and filling, and the staff were super friendly and attentive!
