happy hour disaster on saturday. we planned to go to eberly/cedar tavern but there was a wedding buyout.
ended up audibling to odd duck up the street. it’s been on my list for a while but it’s pretty bougee so haven’t had it yet.
cornbread was incredible and well worth the price ($13). perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside.
stuffed quail was a lil expensive ($31) but flavors were pretty good with the sauce and stuffing. quail was a little tough in some parts and tender in others so bites were hard to rate. I don’t think I would get this again.
had a bite of manny’s burger and aadhi’s sourdough bread. burger tasted very good but also not sure about the price value. the sourdough was very flavorful with good toppings.
overall I think the play here is to come on a date and split the corn bread, pasta, and some other stuff. great food but price is a lil higher than I think it’s worth.
