realizing now this may have been my first trip to nyc without getting a bagel š³ criminal.
however, the one breakfast I did get out was pretty electric!
this is a cute trendy lil corner deli/butcher/grocer. the sandwiches are a tad expensive but itās ny and they have to pay for their vestaboard somehow!
I tried the sausage and egg biscuit as a good entry item to get a feel for the spot. it exceeded my expectations. the sausage was top quality and perfectly cooked. the egg was the highlight for sureā¦ it was fluffy and almost like a scrambled egg/omelette which was a welcome surprise. the biscuit was really good; crispy yet fluffy inside. I would have liked more sauce or something to spice it up but overall this was a very well executed sandwich. I look forward to retuning and trying some other stuff since I can only assume they will be as thoughtfully put together as the biscuit was.
