me and luca wanted to end the trip with a bang and with no lolla on monday we were flexible and ready to try something awesome. our original plan was between a few of the nicer spots in west loop but they all were closed on monday or were only open for dinner. I was skeptical of this spot’s ability to hold up to the taco scene in texas. however, it was getting glazed on reddit and infatuation so we decided to give it a shot. glad I did. the quesabirria tacos were incredible with a great balance of meat, cheese, and seasoning. the real star of the show was the cabeza taco they serve which blew me away. the flavor profile on this taco is incredible and worth driving out of your way if you are ever in chicago. these were the best birria tacos I have ever had. pricewise they were on the more expensive side ($5-$6 a taco) but I think they are well worth it. I will order the cabeza plate if I ever come back. goated spot (pun intended).
