we checked out a D&D store before and saw some cool games and a live cat.
me and manny split the pork belly bao to start. this was just okay; good flavor but the pork belly was thinner than I would have liked.
I split the bahn mi with both of them so I got to try the brisket and the grilled pork with egg.
the brisket was decent quality but I wasn’t blown away. the proportions were also off; they give you hella veggies and not enough meat. the size is kinda an illusion. I also am not a fan of how they squish the bread, I would rather have had a more traditional presentation.
the fried pork was better but the quantity was also disappointing.
need to try more bahn mi spots but this isn’t near the top for me." - luke
