"Delicious ramen!! I had the oh so hot miso ramen and I polished it off. The noodles to broth ratio was perfect and the tonktsu was melt in your mouth. My only complaint was that it wasn’t spicy enough. I asked for the spiciest level and I felt it could use more chili. However, Japanese food isn’t typically spicy so I’m not too cut up.
My friends got the yakiniku bowl and the zebra ramen, and were kind enough to let me try a bit for the review. The yakiniku was good, but just your average yakiniku bowl. You can get it anywhere. I think it could have had more meat for both of my friends to eat. The zebra ramen, however, was also fabulous! I could really taste the butter in the broth.
I also appreciated how this place did not skimp on the veggies and meat. That’s a big pet peeve of mine.
Service was also great and the ambience was lovely! I enjoyed the all wood decor and the adorable signs. Next time I’d like to try their happy hour menu! They have a toki highball for 6 dollars!" - Aanandi
