"Post church lunch was somewhat a let down. Usually a staple and a “you know what you’re getting” restaurant dropped the ball yesterday. I got the chicken chimi lunch special and it just didn’t live up to the hype. The chicken was dry and the burro lacked the crunch you need for satisfaction. Part of my believes the lunch special menu may be the culprit here. Bailey got her signature birria tacos and they didn’t grill them. All time let down. I’m not going to let one tough experience ruin this mesa signature but I’m going to stick the game plan next time. Run the football, order the happy hour Mexican pizza, roll out with some play action, don’t order off the lunch menu and find the TE wide open on a drag route in the end zone." - Joey
