Visited Stick Rice, a Michelin rated restaurant, so Julia and I went and shared 4 things!
My first time trying Laotian cuisine, and her first time trying ramen from a restaurant. She is used to Maruchan Ramen that you heat up in the microwave… *side eye* We got the coconut curry ramen, this was good but only came with two pieces of shrimp and half of an egg. What is with the rationing? The flavor was curry forward, but I would not say it’s close to comparable to Jinya (my fav ramen spot).
The wings were the star of the show. 10/10!!
We got sticky rice since the place is called sticky rice, and honestly, I make better soy at home.
Lastly, we tried the dumplings which has a squishy consistency, tasted most similar to a Vietnamese dish, Bánh Bột Lọc. Pretty good!
