Went on a Wednesday at around 1:50pm and waited for 30~ mins, paid $35 before tax/tip for the sandwich, fries, and water. I’m gonna be so fr I didn’t think it was worth the price or wait. The bread was to hard on the exterior that it hurts the roof of your mouth and the onions were a bit too overwhelming after eating a half of the sandwich. Would say that the portion is good enough for 2ppl who are not overly hungry tho!

"In NYC, there are a lot of people waiting in lines for random things. Yogurt, BCD Tofu House, or Apollo’s Bagels. I normally question those people waiting in line for a “speciality” item, but I do say Salt Hank’s is worth the line. IT’S SOOO GOOD. As someone who loves French dip sandwiches, I can confidently say that salt hanks has the best. The portions are excellent given the price. The meat and au jus dip are both rich in flavor without being salty. I might not order the “fries” next time. They were fine but not necessarily. The sandwich is where it is at. Never order this for take out. Bring a friend. Wait in the line. Eat the sandwich. [9.4/10]" - Hoopin
