25% of the menu isn’t translated because they gave up on translations — that’s how I knew I was in for some authentic homecooked dishes!
Peanut noodles were soooo yummy! I have a slight preference for my peanut sauce to have some sweetness to it while this one was salt forward. The noodles thoughhh. Bouncy with a bit of a bite. I LOVE
I didn’t know what the “ho fun special” was and when she said it in Chinese I still didn’t know what it meant 😪 got it anyways and now I can share to the world that you must as well! Basically rice rolls but in a simple and creamy veggie broth. The perfecttt hot noodle dish now that NY wants to treat us with weather that feels like 14degrees 🙃
Sweet and sour pork ribs were OK. I really liked the fried taro cubes tho! Rice was a bit sticky (which is lowkey how I like it when there’s any sauce to eat it with 😋).
