"abe’s pagoda is one of the loudest and most crowded bars i’ve ever been to in my entire life, and i absolutely hate going there. and yet i keep returning, again and again, because of how good their kitchen is. the fried chicken sandwich, for instance, is my favorite in the entire city. amazing crispness on the outside from the corn batter, tender meat on the interior, & a delicious chili oil aioli that adds just the right amount of szechuan kick. it’s literal perfection. one of the only things that makes a trip to bushwick worth it" - lucas
