my one caveat: avoid weekdays, where the broth quality drops off. i noticed it tends to lean watery over rich during these times. otherwise, this is my favorite hot pot spot in nyc. the spicy hot pot is actually spicy and doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting for days. all the ingredients are always fresh, unlike most places that cut corners. i think it pairs well with the house-made soy milk which is a sweet treat in and of itself.
