Enjoyed every dish but especially the kimchi fried rice and corn (I just love corn). Black sesame bread pudding was also yummy! Too close to Times Square, but perfect before Broadway!

New Mexican food spot in NYC by the Don Angie food group. Really fun experience, they did a lot of things tableside that were great including expanding the table we were sitting at (what???) when the entrees came out to make more room for us. Everything was solid but expensive. Mexican food is meant to be cheap! I think the dishes we ordered were too similar to each other (a lot of blue corn tortillas, cheese, and shredded pork).

Honestly was disappointed! Wanted to come here for a while but couldn’t find an occasion. They are tasting menu only. When I think tasting menu, I think small portions that are high quality. Unfortunately they had ENORMOUS portions that were really heavy and it was all just too much. Pastas were solid but I really would have preferred to just order them a la carte and had like one app and one main.

I think Indian food is like Mexican food ie the cheaper the better, but this place was on the bougie side. Beautiful presentation and lots of good flavors, but a high price point and I’ve enjoyed other Indian meals more.

If you take one recommendation from me, GO HERE. It’s stunning. Far from Manhattan and the line will be long, but it’s so worth it. We got there at 10am and waited about an hour. They closed the line a bit after we got there. Insane Asian flavored desserts. So unique and all executed immaculately.

Black sesame croissant and BEC croissant. All solid but not worth a special trip given it’s all the way in LIC.
